Marriage of
Ernest Albert Furnell
&
Margaret Grace Downie

Ernest and Margaret Furnell.jpeg

This photo of the very well dressed ladies and gentlemen leaving what looks like a small church on a hot January day in 1906 makes me hot just looking at it.

I mentioned to my Aunty Mary once it looked very hot and her reply was "Yes, Mum said the jellies did not set."  I was surprised they would even contemplate jelly.

It also looks very dry and dusty.

An error in the printing of these cards was noted recently. It should read Ernest Albert but instead reads Albert Edward.  There must have been much panic and disappointment at the time but it seems Brides of the time were more forgiving than Brides of today!
